Dance Woking is seeking a new Chair and trustees

Dance Woking is seeking a chair and up to six new trustees who have expertise in their sector, along with networks in the arts, business or creative industries. We are seeking trustees with a passion for engaging people in the arts and an enthusiasm and belief in the vision and mission of Dance Woking. We are looking for people to champion, campaign for and support our work at this exciting period of change and who have the time and commitment to contribute to the future strategic development and sustainability of Dance Woking.

Dance Woking is an innovative dance organisation that provides high quality opportunities to watch, perform and take part in dance.  As we enter our 25th year, Dance Woking has ambitious plans for the future and is seeking to appoint exceptional and dynamic trustees to support the company in this next phase of development.

Chair

Are you a strategic thinker with people skills to lead a talented board of experts and support the CEO/Artistic Director to lead a dynamic and ambitious organisation? You will need knowledge of good governance, a commitment to supporting Dance Woking’s mission and the skill to build effective relationships with our key stakeholders.

Trustees

Are you passionate about the arts? Do you have the time, and commitment to be part of the team who helps shape the next phase of the organisation’s development? You don’t need to be working in the arts, simply an interest and want to find out more! We are looking for new people to join our effective and supportive board, to build on our success and steer Dance Woking forward. Ideally candidates will either live or work in Woking or the surrounding areas. We are particularly seeking trustees with expertise in one or more of the following:
