Dance Woking at Party in the Park Saturday 8 July

Party in the Park – Saturday 8 July 2017

This year, the party will be ‘Rockin’ All Over the Park’ as Woking pays tribute to the late, great Rick Parfitt from Status Quo.

Woking is celebrating the life and achievements of two of the greatest musical exports ever to come out of the town by throwing a retro 60s and 70s themed party, and everyone is invited! This year’s theme was chosen in honour of Rick Parfitt from Status Quo who tragically died on Christmas Eve 2016 and celebrates the achievements of Paul Weller’s world famous band The Jam.

The Woodstock of Woking offers something for everyone with a smorgasbord of music, dance, drama, comedy, workshops, great food and other cultural activities, from a wide range of local bands, professional artists and community groups. Dance Woking will be once again curating the dance element featuring an eclectic mix of local dance groups and professional dance companies, giving visitors a chance to watch, perform and take part.
