Dance Teachers
Dance Woking is looking for experienced dance teachers and community practitioners to join our outreach team on a freelance basis. The focus for this work will be to join the delivery team, working in schools and in the local community for Spring & Summer 2023 where you will be responsible for teaching groups who may or may not have dance experience.
You will need to ensure that all students are engaged, motivated, and inspired through dance to build their self-esteem and confidence.
You will be expected to have a minimum of 12 months proven teaching experience with young people, in addition to a professional dance background or training.
Dance Woking delivers a variety of different projects across Woking & Surrey that includes a variety of dance styles, and participants with a range of ages and abilities from 5 – 17 years.

Trustees
Dance Woking is seeking new Trustees to join its Board. Interested in a new opportunity to lead and influence a dance charity?
It’s an exciting time for Dance Woking as we develop and create a new strategic direction and we are looking for new trustees to support and challenge the organisation. We are seeking candidates with experience in environmental, health, financial management, business and commercial, IT, legal, HR and local community and particularly welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds to help to progress our aim to become a fully inclusive and diverse organisation.
Dance Woking, is looking for committed individuals who can bring their expertise to this vibrant and versatile dance development organisation. The Trustee role requires you to attend to four board meetings per year, provide strategic support and enthusiastic advocacy.
Meetings usually take place early evening and are currently online. Board members will be expected to offer time and expertise outside of board meetings as relevant to their area of specialism. Board members will be invited to Dance Woking events throughout the year, although it is not expected that board members attend all these events.
Board members will be asked to serve on the board of Trustees of Dance Woking for a minimum term of 3 years where possible.
