Freelance Project Coordinator, up to £13.50/hour

This is a key role working alongside the Engagement Manager.  This position is offered on a fixed term freelance basis to help enable Dance Woking to build its audience base and raise its profile within the local community through both community bespoke and targeted community engagement interactions. Dance Woking is looking for experienced dance teachers and community practitioners to join our outreach team on a freelance basis. The focus for this work will be to join the delivery team, working in schools and in the local community for the Autumn & Winter 2023/24 where you will be responsible for teaching groups who may or may not have dance experience. Dance Woking is looking for holiday club dance assistants to join us on a part-time basis to support our Autumn 2023 programme of activities. Recruiting Holiday Club Assistants

Dance Woking is running our very popular Hunky Dory Easter Holiday Club in Woking over the Easter break in partnership with Active Surrey’s Club4 Scheme.

To deliver our programme of activity, we are recruiting 2 Holiday Club Assistants to join our team on a fixed term basis.

Dance Woking’s Hunky Dory Easter Holiday Club is suitable for children in Primary School Years 4 to 6.

The club provides a fun and safe environment for all abilities, there will be a dance element each day, hot food, arts & crafts; with the focus on a fun, active and creative club for all participants!

Dates you will be required are as follows:

3, 4, 5* April and 12*, 13, 14 April

Times: 9am – 1.30pm and 11am to 3.30pm,

*Wednesday times: 9am – 1pm & 11am – 3pm

Location 1: Lakeview Community Centre, GU21 3AF

Location 2: Addlestone Community Centre, Garfield Rd, Addlestone KT15 2NJ

Training date: TBA

Applicants must be available for an in-person training day (TBA). Training will include at least one accredited online course on safeguarding (and depending on location food safety), in person training & planning to ensure the smooth delivery of the program.

Please note the assistant role does not require dance experience but an interest in working with children is essential, and dance desirable. This post requires you to have an enhanced DBS certificate.

Recruiting Holiday Club Assistants

Dance Woking is running a Christmas Hunky Dory Holiday Club in Woking & Stanwell over the Christmas holiday period in partnership with Active Surrey’s Club4 Scheme.

To deliver our programme of activity, we are recruiting 2 Holiday Club Assistants to join our team on a fixed term basis.

Dance Woking’s Hunky Dory Christmas Club is suitable for children in Primary School Years 4 to 6.

The club provides a fun and safe environment for all abilities, there will be a dance element each day, hot food, arts & crafts; with the focus on a fun, active and creative club for all participants!

Dates: Monday 19th to Thursday 22nd December and Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th December. Locations: Woking (19, 20, 21, 22 and 28 & 29 December) and Stanwell (27, 28, 29, 30 December).
