What Professional Class with Alexander Whitley Dance

Dance Woking are excited to be hosting a professional dance class with Alexander Whitley Dance Company in February Half Term! The workshop will be led by company dancer Robert Bridger.
This workshop also includes a ticket to see Alexander Whitley Dance company perform 8 Minutes at the Rhoda McGaw Theatre on Thursday 21st March at 7.30pm.
Suitable for those who have completed a full time dance training course or equivalent.
Tuesday 19th February 2019: 6.00pm – 8.00pm (Warm up from 5.30pm)

About Robert Bridger: Originally from Wiltshire, Robert started his training at the Swindon Dance, Centre for Advance Training from where he continued his training and study at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. He has worked previously with National Dance Company Wales, Protein Dance, Saju Hari Dance, Hubert Essakow at The Print Room. Robert currently works and collaborates with Emanuel Gat Dance – previous works include TENWORKS with Opera de Lyon and DUOS. Robert joined Alex Whitley Dance Company in 2017 to work on the duet, Between Two Fires.
About Alexander Whitley Dance Company: Artistic Director and Choreographer: Alexander Whitley is a London-based choreographer working at the cutting edge of British contemporary dance. He has also created work for several of the UK’s leading companies including the Royal Ballet, Rambert, Balletboyz, Candoco and Birmingham Royal Ballet. Alexander Whitley Dance Company was established in 2014 bringing together artists and academics from a wide range of fields including science, architecture and design. The workshop will be with members of the Alexander Whitley Dance Company.
