What Ceyda Tanc Dance – KUSAK

KUSAK is an exciting intergenerational performance challenging audience perceptions of dance and age. Born out of a collaboration between choreographer Ceyda Tanc and renowned Brighton company, Three Score Dance Company, this work explores ritualistic ceremonies from Folk culture.

Dance Woking is seeking seeking a range of different aged dancers and dance abilities, from the more experienced dancers to those with little or no dance experience to take part.

Our target is to recruit up to 30 dancers aged  8-90 years

Wednesday 29 May: 8 – 11 years 10am – 2pm & also Thus 30 May 10am – 12noon; over 12 years 12noon to 5.30pm

The piece will be performed in The Wells Room at HG Wells Conference & Events Centre, on Tuesday 18 June as part of Woking’s Refugee week celebrations.
